For World Food Day, Trinidad and Tobago joins the rest of the world in reflecting on the challenges of climate change and bioenergy, on food security.

At the Agri-Expo organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Marine Resources, the National World Food Day Committee and the University of the West Indies. on Thursday 16th October ,at the JFK Quadrangle, UWI from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., visitors can participate in plant and crop care clinics., buy international food,. fruit trees, and ornamentals.There will be giveaways of seeds and seedlings.Visitors can come to learn more about our national food supply and services to producers and to consumers offered by Ministry, the University of the West Indies, the National Agricultural Marketing Development Corporation NAMDEVCO,the Agricultural Development Bank ADB,the Trinidad and Tobago Agribusiness Association TTABA, the Agricultural Society, and agencies for water and land management, and disaster preparedness
