In Norway there was a very good coverage of World Food Day. There was an article written by a senior advisor at the NGO Utviklingsfondet highlighting the worrying trend of increasing world hunger. Another article highlighted the European Forestry Week, which was held at FAO’s headquarters. A short article summarized an FAO press release and highlighted the launch of the new book called Gender in Agriculture Sourcebook, published jointly by FAO, IFAD and the World Bank.
