Building solidarity to end world hunger
Since its inception in 1997, the TeleFood initiative of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations has enriched the lives of many people in the developing world and in transition countries.
By finacing grassroot-level micro projects the TeleFood Special Fund helps families and small-scale farmers communities produce more food and generate cash income, for better access to food.
The TeleFood campaign has generated over US$ 29 million in donations and has funded more than 3200 projects in 130 countries around the world. more...
