Overhalla catering was the third in Norway and is still the only Debio certified organic Institutional kitchen in its county. Representatives from Overhalla travelled to primary schools to serve pupils organic hot meals and refreshments in connection with Økouka Week 2012, which is about consumption of organic food. The week coincides with the 16th October, internationally recognized as World Food Day and the anniversary of the founding of FAO in 1945.
