GFOI’s partner the European Space Agency (ESA) is inviting everyone to join the launch of the first global land cover map for 2020 at 10 m resolution based on Sentinel-2 and Sentinel-1 data.

The new baseline land cover product has been developed by the WorldCover consortium. Ruben Van De Kerchove (WorldCover Project Manager, VITO Remote Sensing) and Olivier Arino (ESA) will attend the event and interact with the public for specific questions and feedback on the product.
