Consultations on Agricultural Information Management (COAIM)
KCE organizes Technical Consultations on Agricultural Information Management (COAIM), which are convened under the provisions of Article VI-5 of the FAO Constitution, and which are open to FAO Members as well as to observers from international organizations. Workshops may be held in parallel to the Technical Consultation on aspects of information management, including development of networks and capacity building.
The Technical Consultations contribute to the key role that information and knowledge play in ensuring food security and sustainable development. The Consultations address technical issues around improvement of access to agricultural information, development of normative frameworks and standards, and enhancement of capacity building initiatives, and in relation to FAO's work under the World Agricultural Information Centre (WAICENT) Framework.

A Technical Consultation on Agricultural Information Management will be held during the biennium 2006-07 at a date to be decided.
