COAG Side Event: Recongizing the Role of Agricultural Heritage Systems in Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development

The side event will provide an opportunity to discuss the fundamental issues related to GIAHS with permanent representatives and delegates to COAG. Moreover, it will be an occasion for sharing concrete experiences and lessons learned from the implementation of GIAHS, including the challenges faced by GIAHS member countries, as well as the benefits derived from their recognition. Furthermore, country delegates and permanent representatives will have the chance to exchange views and opinions in an open debate.
