As a result of the attentive screening and field survey conducted by the experts of the Scientific Advisory Group (SAG), “Historical Irrigation System at L’Horta de Valencia” has been designated as the fourth GIAHS site in Spain during the SAG meeting that took place in FAO-HQ of 11-14 November 2019:
