Hand in Hand with nature: Understanding Nature-Based Solutions in agriculture through GIAHS
The GIAHS-Secretariat is pleased to announce its participation in the first webinar of a series on Nature-Based Solutions in Agriculture organized by the FAO Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia (REU) on 1st December at 12 (CET).
It is organized under the Regional Initiative focused on“Managing natural resources sustainably under a changing climate.” The event seeks to to generate a multi-stakeholder platform to upscale Nature-Based Solutions in Agriculture in the region, based on real cases, tools and science-based evidences.
This first webinar will be an opportunity for FAO to provideinsights on Nature-Based Solutions in Agriculture with real and time- tested examples coming from Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS). The objective of the webinar is to also open a debate on the potentialities of Nature-Based Solutions that can support the agri-food systems of the countries.
