The public launch of the Global Record Information System is the main news item in the Global Record's second Newsletter, published today. 

This second Newsletter also features further changes to the Information System which will be carried out in due course as well as a brief update about the outcome of the fourth Global Record Working Group (GRWG), which took place in April in London, United Kingdom, and the launch, in recent weeks, of a new FAO Web site on illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing.
