Aware of new trends in education and the growing demand for soil-related information, the GSP offers e-learning courses, video tutorials and training materials through the open source Educational Platform 'EduSoils'.

Capacity development in action

FAO’s Global Soil Partnership (GSP) has centered capacity development at the heart of its main activities. Since its inception in 2012, the GSP has supported member countries and GSP Partners through training workshops, webinars and the publication of technical manuals and reports. Reflecting the fact that soils provide multiple and diverse ecosystem services, the GSP’s capacity development initiatives range from topics about sustainable soil management practices all the way to advancing the use of digital technologies, and much more!
