This side event will bring the ITPS chair, GSP Secretariat and various stakeholders to discuss the needs in terms of global scientific advice on soils and the potential contribution of the ITPS to the strive for a land degradation neutral world and how it could contribute to the objectives and 10 year Strategy of the UNCCD.
