The aim of this workshop is to identify the current gaps on soil research globally and discuss the formulation of a joint plan of action for GSP Pillar 3 that has a focus on “Promote targeted soil research and development focusing on identified gaps and priorities and synergies with related productive, environmental and social development actions”.  It is anticipated that a key outcome from this workshop will be the establishment of a working group that will be tasked to formulate this plan of action with inputs from different regional actors.
