The second Plenary Meeting of the Eurasian Soil Partnership (EASP) was held in Izmir, Turkey, from 16-18 June 2015 for finalizing a five year rolling sub-regional ‘Implementation Plan’. The “Izmir Communiqué” (in Russian) was adopted and signed by all participants highlighting commitments for promoting wide uptake of sustainable soil management and restoration of degraded soils in the region.
