Global Soil Partnership

The Global Soil Biodiversity Symposium will be held on 19 - 22 April 2021

Due to time conflicts between two global events that have been postponed due to the ongoing COVID19 pandemic, the Global Symposium on Soil Biodiversity (GSOBI21) has to be slightly postponed. As a result, GSOBI21 will now take place from 19 to 22 April 2021.

In view of the current pandemic, the Global Soil Biodiversity Symposium will remain an entirely virtual event. In order to accommodate as many regions of the world as possible, the sessions will last only 3 hours per day, from 13:00 to 16:00 Rome time. This will allow participants from North and Latin America to attend all sessions, as well as participants from Asia and the Pacific. The agenda of the event is not expected to change significantly and will most likely be transposed to the new dates in April.

Registration for the Symposium will be opened soon and you will shortly receive a follow-up email with latest agenda and link to the event registration.

On behalf of the GSOBI organizing committee, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and hope you will understand that the situation is not within our control..
