The Food and Agriculture Organization extends an invitation to attend the Third Plenary Assembly of the Global Soil Partnership (GSP) to be held from 22 to 24 June 2015 at FAO headquarters in Rome. The opening meeting will commence at 09.00 hours on Monday 22 June.

The Provisional Agenda is attached . Any request for inclusion or modification of items on the Provisional Agenda should be sent to: [email protected] by 30 May 2015.  The session will be conducted in English, French and Spanish.

In accordance with the GSP Rules of Procedure, the official documents for each item of the provisional agenda will be made available by 22 May on the GSP Website. 

One of the main items on the agenda of the Plenary Assembly is the appointment of members of the Intergovernmental Technical Panel on Soils (ITPS) for a new term of two years. Hence, the nomination of experts to serve on the Panel is hereby requested; based on the Terms of Reference of the GSP and the agreed Rules of Procedure, the Call for Experts is available here (please note the deadline for nomination of experts is 20 May 2015).
