Biennial report 2000-2001
Global Terrestrial Observing System
GTOS-30
The
report summarizes developments during the last two years in
areas such as the Terrestrial Ecosystem Monitoring Sites (TEMS)
database, Carbon, NPP, Climate, Forest and land-cover dynamics,
network development, mountains, and coastal issues.
The report introduces Dr Robert Scholes, new chairman of the
GTOS steering committee and his thoughts on the role of GTOS
in the coming years. A copy of the report is being mailed
to members of this list.
