Change Network (ECN)
- This site, founded in 1992, represents the UK's integrated
long-term environmental monitoring network. It is designed
to collect, store, analyse and interpret long-term data
based on a set of key physical, chemical and biological
variables which drive and respond to environmental change.
- Global
Change Data and Information System (GCDIS)
- GCDIS is a cooperative activity of agencies participating
in the U.S. Global Research Program (USGCRP). The site includes
multidisciplinary data from atmospheric science, ecology,
oceanography, as well as economics and sociology.
- Global Change
and Terrestrial Ecosystems (GCTE)
- GCTE aims to predict the effects and consequences of changes
in climate, atmospheric composition, and land use in terrestrial
ecosystems including agricultural and production forest
systems.
- International
Geosphere Biosphere Programme (IGBP)
- The International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme (IGBP)
is an interdisciplinary scientific activity established
and sponsored by the International Council for Science (ICSU).
It acquires basic scientific data on the interactive biological
and chemical processes that relate to global change.
- INFEO
- The INFEO system offers access to Earth observation information;
services, and data catalogues around the world.
- International
Institute for Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation
(ITC)
- ITC is the largest institute for international higher
education in the Netherlands. It aims to assist industrializing
countries in the development of aerospace surveys, remote
sensing applications, and the establishment and management
