Venue and date

The International Symposium will be held in Berlin, Germany from 1-4 December 2003 at the House of World Cultures.

Introduction

The symposium is intended to intensify the dialog between decision-makers, users and scientists, and to foster national and international research cooperation.

GTOS workshop

GTOS will give a presentation at the symposium as well as organize a workshop of approximately 20 people on 3 December. The workshop will be on the process of developing methods for biodiversity monitoring.
