Terrestrial
Carbon Observations (TCO) and Global Carbon Project (GCP)
TCO and GCP
are jointly organizing a Terrestrial Carbon Observations and Model-Data
Fusion workshop, Sheffield, UK, 3-6 June 2003. The intention is
to increase the availability of more accurate and mutually consistent
estimates of the distribution of C sources and sinks at a regional
and global level. This goal can be achieved by convergence of in
situ and satellite observations, experiments and modelling strategies;
improvements in data acquisition and sharing; and product generation,
distribution and use. Additional information on the workshop is
available at: www.fao.org/gtos/meetSHE.html.
If you would
like documents or posters to be displayed at the meeting please
contact the GTOS Secretariat for information.
For further
details of TEMS projects and activities please to contact the GTOS
Secretariat (gtos@fao.org) or
