| The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Quality and Safety Database is part of the FAO activities aimed at enhancing information access and exchange as means to improve the safe production, harvesting, handling, storage, transport and marketing of fresh fruit and vegetable. The database focuses on resource materials and training activities, and has been structured so that the users will understand the relations between quality and safety issues. The database contains over 800 references organized using a modular approach.
