Ankara - Representatives from the African Union and AU member states met with partners of the Great Green Wall community to present the results achieved so far by the Great Green Wall initiative and work together on the way forward. During a side-event at COP12 in Ankara partners including the EU, FAO, the Global Mechanism of the UNCCD, World Bank, GEF, CILSS, OSS, IUCN, NEPAD, the government of Turkey, DryNet, ReSad, discussed how to scale up the initiative by mobilizing knowledge, technical expertise and financial resources.
