Gabon and Cuba strive to strengthen their cooperation in the agricultural sector

The two countries are considering joint lines of action for their mutual benefit.

Gabon's Head of State Ali Bongo's recent official visit to Cuba has opened the door to exploring new opportunities for cooperation in various fields, including agriculture. The two countries intend to create a fertilizer production plant, speed up the seed program and improve local product processing.

Ali Bongo opened the forum, highlighting the space for mutually beneficial alliances that can guide newfound cooperation between the two countries, "not only to strengthen our ties with our Cuban partners, but also to establish a mutually beneficial framework. The stability of our country is renowned, and so are the opportunities," he commented to the Habana business community.
