Regional workshop on the assessment of the impacts of climate change on crop yield with the AquaCrop model

FAO, in collaboration with Agrhymet - a specialized institution of the Permanent Interstates Committee for Drought Control in the Sahel (CILSS), Niger - and the Ministry of Agriculture of Côte d'Ivoire, is organizing a regional workshop from 3 to 7 December 2018 in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, to present the results of the assessment of the impacts of climate change on crop yield using the AquaCrop model. This workshop is organized in the framework of the project "Adaptation of small-scale irrigation to climate change in West and Central Africa", funded by IFAD and implemented by FAO. All partners involved in the project from Madagascar, Mali, Niger and Côte d'Ivoire, will attend the workshop and present the results of the assessment in their respective countries.
