SHARP Training

Bouaké - Côte d'Ivoire, 09/02/2017 - 11/02/2017

A three day training took place in Bouaké, Côte d’Ivoire, from 9 to 11 February 2017 on the use of the SHARP tool (Self-evaluation and Holistic Assessment of climate Resilience of farmers and Pastoralists). This tool developed by FAO, is designed as an instrument to assess the resilience of farmer and pastoralist households to climate change. It is used in the framework of this project to better understand and incorporate the situations, concerns and interests of family farmers and pastoralists relating to climate resilience.

This training was attended by national focal points and consultants of the four pilot countries (Gambia, Niger, Mali, Côte d’Ivoire), IFAD project managers, project coordination team and technical experts.
