On Friday 5th July, the EAF-Nansen Programme is hosting a special session at the WIOMSA Scientific Symposium. The session entitled The EAF-Nansen Programme: Research contributions in the Indian Ocean in support of regional and global policy and management processes will feature presentations on the preliminary results of the surveys that the R/V Dr Fridtjof Nansen conducted in the Western Indian Ocean in 2018. It will also be an opportunity to provide guidance on the proposed research projects and discuss policy and management priorities to guide future work. The session will take place in Lecture room G2 from 11.30-18.00.
