Introduction of the first publication from the GPFLR and other key restoration initiatives

The Chair of the Global Partnership on Forest and Landscape Restoration (GPFLR) Tim Christophersen will introduce the first publication on the Global State of Forest and Landscape Restoration, titled: “Restoring forests and landscapes: the key to a sustainable future”. The full publication is to be launched on 29 August 2018 during a Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) event in Nairobi, Kenya.

Other presentations will follow, updating the status of key global restoration initiatives supported by the Global Environment Facility (GEF). The event will provide accessible information about key global restoration initiatives.
