Discussing challenges in the fisheries sector

In honor of the 60th anniversary of the EU Fish Processors and Traders Association and the EU Federation of National Organizations of Importers and Exporters of Fish (AIPCE-CEP), FAO Deputy Director of the Fisheries and Aquaculture Policy and Resources and Division, Audun Lem, presented FAO’s views on major issues and challenges in the global fisheries sector to an audience of EU and international institution representatives, as well as NGOs and national associations. For many years now, FAO has had a very productive relationship of cooperation with AIPCE-CEP, which is also an observer at the FAO Committee on Fisheries (COFI).
