INPhO, the Information Network on Post-harvest Operations, was originally designed by FAO with the support and collaboration of GIZ and CIRAD in 1996. The site has recently undergone a review and reformat to enhance the presentation and accessibility of the information available. This information resource is managed by the Rural Infrastructure and Agro-Industries Division of FAO.

The principal objectives of INPhO are to promote best practice in post-harvest activities for agricultural products and to assist in the expansion of agribusiness by providing easy access to technical data and information.
