Hot Sour Soup

Ingredients

mushrooms: 6
oil, sesame: 1 teaspoon
egg, chicken: 1
sugar: 1/2 teaspoon
broth: 4 cup
chicken: 6 ounce
onion, green: 2 tablespoon
sauce, hot: 1 teaspoon
pepper, white: 2 teaspoon
salt, table: 1/2 teaspoon
soya, sauce: 2 teaspoon
vinegar: 3 tablespoon
corn, starch: 1 tablespoon

Steps

1. Mix meat with cornstarch, soy sauce, hot sauce, and sugar; set aside to marinate.
2. In a large pot, combine chicken broth and mushrooms strips. Bring to a boil over high heat.
3. Add meat, and whille stirring, bring to a second boil.
4. Add pepper, vinegar, and salt. Boil about 1 1/2 minutes. Add dissolved cornstarch and stir until slightly thickened.
5. Very slowly pour in beaten egg, stirring constantly. Add sesame oil, stir well, and serve immediatly. Garnish each serving with green onion.
