KnoWat at the World Water Week 2020

The World Water Week is organized each year in Stockholm, Sweden. However, due to the Covid-19 crisis it was held virtually from 24 to 28 August 2020. 

FAO together with the Rights and Resources Initiative (RRI), the Environmental Law Institute (ELI), the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL), the Government of Senegal, the Government of Rwanda and the Government of Sri Lanka organized a virtual session on "Water Tenure Approaches for Securing Rights and Advancing Climate Resilience" on 25 August 2020. A total of 97 participants attended the online conference. The Ministry of Food and Agriculture of Germany officiated the opening statement.
