The PSC is chaired jointly by a senior official from the European Commission and the Director AGP.

The PSC meets annually and countries are encouraged to be represented at Deputy Minister level with support from a AGPMC technical officer. The meetings last two days and all countries listed in the project document are invited to attend.

As time is limited the project focuses on results achieved in countries which have signed project agreements with FAO allowing implementation of activities at national level. Following the PSC the findings, recommendations and lessons learnt from the meeting are circulated.
