Partners

Within the framework of the Program of Brazil-FAO International Cooperation, the Brazilian Cooperation Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Relations of Brazil(ABC/MRE) is the institution responsible for the coordination and monitoring of the planned activities.

The Program is jointly carried out by the government of Brazil, through ABC, and the Regional Office of FAO, with its main office in Santiago de Chile, as well as the following institutions of the Federal Republic of Brazil: Special Secretariat for Family Agriculture and Agrarian Development (SEAD), National Fund for Educational DevelopmentMinistry of Education (FNDE/MEC)Ministry of Social Development (MDS), Ministry of the Environment (MMA) and National Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform (Incra).

These partner institutions support the implementation of the projects under way in the areas of: School Feeding; Strengthening the Dialogue between FAO, Governments and Civil Society; Institutional Strengthening of Fisheries and Aquaculture; Food and Nutritional SecurityAgro-environmental PoliciesStrengthening the Cotton SectorHumanitarian Cooperation; Latin America and the Caribbean without Hunger; Responsible land governance and Public Procurement from Family Farming.
