The development phase concludes with the creation of business models for the agricultural water management solutions which have been identified in the mapping. These business models describe the opportunities and include recommendations for scaling up specific agricultural water management solutions. They also include a monitoring and evaluation framework to support the sustainability of the investments, providing indicators to monitor the impact on smallholder livelihood.
