In commemoration of International Day for the Worlds’ Indigenous Peoples, FAO Director- General issued a video-message celebrating and thanking indigenous peoples for their role in safeguarding our planet. Within the framework of the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, FAO Director-General QU Dongyu, highlighted the importance of indigenous food systems in combatting the pandemic.
