لقد أرست طفولة Mariah Gladstone الأسس المثالية للعمل الذي تضطلع به اليوم والذي يتمثل في بث حياة جديدة في التقاليد الغذائية للسكان الأصليين من خلال برنامج الطهي Indigikitchen على الإنترنت. وبفضل النهج الذي تتبعه إزاء الأنماط الغذائية المستدامة والذي يقضي باستخدام البقول والأغذية الأخرى التي كان يتناولها الأسلاف، أصبحت Mariah مناصرة لمنتدى الأغذية العالمي الذي هو مبادرة أطلقتها منظمة الأغذية والزراعة وشبكة عالمية من الشركاء ويقودها الشباب بما يمكّنهم من تحويل النظم الزراعية والغذائية لبناء مستقبل غذائي أفضل.
