La FAO hace un llamado urgente a los Gobiernos, la academia, las organizaciones de la sociedad civil, la comunidad internacional y a las autoridades indígenas tradicionales a tomar medidas específicas para enfrentar la emergencia, con un enfoque intercultural y garantizando el respeto a los derechos de los pueblos indígenas en todo momento.
