• Has made significant achievements in food composition at global level
• Made significant contribution on food composition and related issues in developing countries

2011

• Heather Greenfield for co-authoring the Greenfield and Southgate book (known as the bible for food composition), her long drive for high quality food composition data, her work in developing countries and for having organized the 1^st IFDC in Sydney in 1993

• Distinguished scientist in the field of nutrition (or closely related field), who has made outstanding contributions to the topic of food composition
• Has a significant publication record
• Can provide insightful and/or innovative perspectives to the discipline
