  • Distinguished scientist in the field of nutrition (or closely related field), who has devoted much of his/her career to the topic of food composition
  • Has made significant achievements in food composition at global level
  • Made significant contribution on food composition and related issues in developing countries

  • Nevin Scrimshaw for his great achievements in nutrition and food composition and as founder of INFOODS 

   

 

 

2011

  • Heather Greenfield for co-authoring the Greenfield and Southgate book (known as the bible for food composition), her long drive for high quality food composition data, her work in developing countries and for having organized the 1st IFDC in Sydney in 1993

 

 

 

  

Greenfield Southgate Lecture at International Food Data Conferences (since 2011)

  • Distinguished scientist in the field of nutrition (or closely related field), who has made outstanding contributions to the topic of food composition
  • Has a significant publication record
