La pêche continentale

La pêche continentale est définie comme « toute activité conduite pour extraire des poissons et d’autres organismes aquatiques des eaux continentales ». Les pêcheries en eaux continentales sont une source importante de nourriture pour l’humanité depuis longtemps. Les pêcheries continentales sont fondamentales pour un groupe de pays en voie de développement dans le monde, car elles apportent une source nutritive importante, tout comme la sécurité alimentaire et des micronutriments. Les pêcheries continentales sont soumises à une pression croissante et sont menacées par les changements de l’environnement aquatique dus à des activités humaines telles que la construction de barrages, la navigation, l’accaparement des zones humides par l’agriculture, l’urbanisation, l’extraction et le transfert d’eau, le traitement des déchets..[plus]
