The plants are directed between two discs by means of a series of elastic separators; the discs keep the plants while a saw cut them and a conveyor belt brings the cutted plants into a crate.

With this harvester the operator uses the traditional asparagus harvesting tools but he works in less time and standing in a more comfortable position; the machine has a foot-operated drive that enables the operator to work without pauses.
