Description |
The manual harvesting of rice by means of knife is done cutting only the ear from its stem (approximately 10 cm below the panicle); the Fonio plants are cutted in their stems and tied into sheaves. The blade of the “Kandia”-“Woloso” is 33 cm long (total length 50 cm). |
