RuralInvest is applicable for any agency, project, organization or private investor managing funds for small and medium scale agricultural and rural investments (both income generating and social activities).
The entity interested in applying RuralInvest needs to develop an in-house support capacity. Modules 1 and 2 require staff with skills on participatory planning and field project analysis. Modules 3 and 4 require personnel with skills on detailed project analysis and computer use at advanced level.
The software included in RuralInvest toolkit can not be made available to individual applicants as training is required in its use.
Interested organizations can contact the local FAO office or FAO Investment Centre officials to define their needs and estimate the cost of training, testing and adoption.
For further details on training and institutional requirements, see the available Brochure.
