Ecuador prepara una estrategia nacional para combatir la pesca ilegal

Press release, in Spanish, announcing a five-day meeting bringing together national authorities and technical teams from the fishing sector to analyse political, legal and operational issues for the implementation of the Agreement on Port State Measures (PSMA) to prevent, discourage and eliminate illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing.
The meeting is organised by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations and the Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade, Investment and Fisheries.
