Food Insecurity and Vulnerability Information and Mapping System (FIVIMS)

Under the WAICENT framework, KCE is supporting the development of information management methodologies and tools for national FIVIMS programmes, as well as developing strategic approaches to the establishment of appropriate institutional linkages for information and communication in support of FIVIMS. This programme of work is being implemented in close collaboration with other groups in FAO to examine how information issues relate to general technical aspects of FIVIMS at national and sub-national levels, as well as how existing networks related to food security can be strengthened.
