Partnerships

Partnerships are undertaken with governments, NGOs, UN agencies and other international organizations with the common goal of building institutional capacity at national and local levels to manage and share agricultural information more effectively; and to facilitate and promote the development and adoption of internationally accepted standards and guidelines in agricultural information management. Partnership activities are financed to a great extent by extra-budgetary funds; strong liaison takes place with Members' Governments and Donors to secure the necessary financial resources to implement activities.
