AOS (Agricultural Ontology Service)
The AOS initiative will apply standards and norms to an ontology service to help structure and standardize agricultural terminology in multiple languages for use by any number of different agricultural information systems around the world.
The AOS is assisting community partners in building ontologies, which are logical systems that contain terms, the definitions of those terms, and the specification of relationships among those terms. The goal of the Agricultural Ontology Service is to achieve better indexing and retrieval of resources, and increased interaction within the agricultural community.
Please visit the AOS page for further information.
