Information management systems
KCE assists Member Nations to improve information management techniques by applying a number of in-house developed systems.
The Electronic Information Management System (EIMS) manages workflow for documents that are published electronically on the Web in HTML and PDF. The News and Events Management System (NEMS) is a Web-publishing tool which allows institutions and organizations to publish information on corporate Web sites without HTML or Web page development knowledge. The WAICENT Conferencing and Messaging Service (CAMS) is a Web Conferencing tool which lets both moderators and users not only access standard postings but also upload and download various document formats.

Learning materials
The Information Management Resource Kit (IMARK) is a partnership-based e-learning initiative comprising a comprehensive suite of distance learning resources covering concepts, approaches and tools for agricultural information management.
Web support
The Internet is a valuable tool to spread knowledge and communicate ideas. Governments and organizations are increasingly looking for innovative Web-based technologies and technical expertise to create informative Web sites, databases and systems. KCE responds to these needs by sharing its technical knowledge with partner organizations to increase access to information globally. Within FAO, KCE works with technical departments and coordinates the Priority Areas for Inter-disciplinary Action (PAIAs) Web sites - FAO's programme to identify multidiscplinary subjects that require cooperation across departments - and Web templates for FAO Country Representation Web sites.
