The FIVIMS Initiative promotes coordinated action among partner agencies in support of best practices in the development of food insecurity and vulnerability information and mapping systems at national and international levels. Improved identification and characterisation of food insecure and vulnerable population groups is expected to lead to hunger reduction interventions.
