This network / community design aid is based on a late 2008 FAO Review of experiences with a pilot phase of knowledge sharing network and communities, and on the online community purpose checklist of Nancy White and Community of Practice Planning Worksheet proposed by Lucie Lamoureux. The Review in question yielded a set of recommendations for enabling and cultivating networks and communities at FAO.
