Statistics on Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry

Quantities in the FAOSTAT database have changed. Why?

Quantities may differ due to changes in classification and commodity definitions and, in the case of trade, due to quantities representing primary equivalents (i.e., raw as well as processed products expressed in primary equivalents).

What should we do when we notice discrepancies in the data?
